This Beginner's Sewing Class focuses on building basic sewing skills and confidence in your new hobby! Projects include items like bags, aprons, items for the home and simple garments to teach basic assembly methods, sewing terminology and how to alter basic patterns to customize your projects. We provide many materials, including a selection of different fabrics and notions, but you are highly encouraged to bring in your own fabric to make your projects more personal. **Please note that Intro to Your Sewing Machine (which is a one time, $30 drop in for students with previous experience, or as a course for various prices for students with limited to no experience) is a prerequisite for this class unless you have spoken with the teacher. It gets everyone on the same page and gives us an opportunity to diagnose any issues you may be having with your sewing machine before getting into class.**
